Zee & Bachar: A Boston public garden proposal

When Bachar reached out to me with his plan to propose to Zee at the Boston Public Garden, I knew this was going to be something special. From the very start, we went all in on the details—figuring out the perfect spot for him to get down on one knee, mapping out where their friends and family could watch without being seen, and, of course, determining where Mike and I would be positioned to capture the moment while staying hidden in plain sight.

Proposals always come with a rush of emotions—the waiting, the anticipation, the excitement. There’s a certain kind of magic in the air leading up to that one unforgettable moment, and this proposal was no exception. The setting was perfect, the plan was seamless, and Bachar’s love for Zee was evident in every carefully thought-out detail.

When the time finally came, everything unfolded beautifully. The look on Zee’s face, the joy, the surprise, the overwhelming happiness—it was everything a proposal should be and more. As photographers, Mike and I live for these moments, and this one was truly special.
